"Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, "This is the way; walk in it."

Time flies!

Well, still not able to get many pictures
uploaded. I did get this one, but have many
more I'd like to share.... uugghh! Anyway,
things are good. I have to return to work
on Monday after 11 weeks of maternity
leave - which were wonderful! It has gone
so fast. I can't believe how much Emmitt
has changed in 2 months time. He's doing
very well. He's so strong already, as you
can see in the picture below :} Olivia and Cam
are doing great too. Olivia is anxiously awaiting
her 8th birthday on the 25th of this month!! She lost
another tooth today too!! Very exciting! And Cam is his
normal rowdy self, who loves guns, trucks, and
anything boy! Eric's staying fairly busy with work,
and coyote hunting. If you think about it, say a
prayer for me next week - I'll need them! Thanks!

Childlike Faith~

Well, I couldn't get any more pictures to work - bummer. We have to keep working on that problem..... I have a special story for you though -
Last night, we were getting ready to get the kids in bed, and Eric, -the ever hunter man - spotted a coyote right behind our house. It was very dark, but you could see it moving around and it was quite close. Of course, he was off to the garage to get his gun and see if he could shoot it. Me and the kids stood by our back door and watched. I told Olivia to hold Emmitt a minute and I was going to go get the binoculars to see if we could see it better. She looked at me with those eyes, and said. "No mom, don't go." I could tell she was scared. May sound silly, but she's a little sensitive when it comes to animals like that, especially so close. Anyway, I reminded her that coyotes couldn't open doors and that she was perfectly safe because they are definitely more scared of us. Well, sure enough, it heard Eric and took off running. When this was all over, I overheard Olivia reciting something. I asked her what it was, and she told me it was something she had memorized from a book. I asked her to share it with me, and this is what she said...
"Keep your hand on me.....
Dear God,
Sometimes I'm full of fear,
Then I remember You're right here.
And in the dark when I can't see,
I know you keep Your hand on me."
Well, I was instantly brought to tears. So many things went through my head in that moment. What joy it brought my heart to know that my little 7 year old goes to Jesus when she's feeling afraid. It made me proud, so proud. Oh to have a childlike faith like that. I just wanted to share that, cuz if you're like me, I don't go to Jesus often enough, and I was thankful for this reminder from my daughter that His hand is always on me.

Emmitt's 2 months!

Well, I got a picture to upload! YEAH!
We'll see if I can get some more to work.....
Emmitt had his 2 mo. check this past
Thursday. He's the picture of health! He
weighs 12lbs. 9 oz. and is 24 in. long. Has
almost doubled his birth weight! He's so
happy and sleeping much better too! He
really smiling a lot and cooing, it's so precious.
Here's a recent picture of him. What a gift!

Computer issues :{

It's been awhile since I've posted any pictures, besides the previous ones I just did. We moved our office to another room, and for some reason now, it won't let me upload any pictures to my blog??? I tried again this morning, and got the ones of Cam to work, but can't get any more to work!!! I have no idea how those worked and no other ones will? But we'll keep working on it. If you don't see anything for a while, that's why.... sometimes I hate computers!! Anyway, life is good. We had our Young Adults Bible Study last night and it was awesome. We watched a video and were reminded that anything we do in this life, God will never love us less. No matter what. It's hard to fathom that. I am deeply humbled by His love for me. What an awesome thing to have. I try to imagine giving up one of my sons for everyone elses sins, and I just can't. What a sacrifice. I just thank Him for His unconditional love and grace.

Our little stinker~

The terrible two's have definitely taken
ahold of our Cameron! He got his hands
on one of Daddy's carpenter pencils,
and decided to draw a pretty picture
on our white cupboard! Looks
pretty guilty in that second picture,
doesn't he? We got it all off, but not
before we took a picture :}

There's nothing like wood heat!

Eric and my Dad just finished installing
our new wood boiler. What an awesome
thing! My dad - being the heating pro that
he is - hooked us up with a really great
and economical way to heat our house!
The boiler is in the garage, so we don't have
to deal with the mess. We are loving it!
We have in-floor heat now, so my feet are
always nice and warm! You can't beat radiant
heat, that's for sure. Here's a few pictures.....
and thanks Dad! You're the best!
